Thursday 7th February 2:00 – 5:00PM Fair Trade Fortnight 2008 Workshop
Fair Trade Fortnight (3-18 May 2008) is Australia’s premier event for promotion of fair trade, and features carnivals, festivals, film and music nights, competitions, exhibitions, market stalls and much much more. It’s a great opportunity to host an event in your church, school, retail outlet, workplace, club, charity or just with your family and friends to tell people about fair trade, and how easy it is to make a positive difference in the lives of disadvantaged producers simply by choosing to buy fair trade products.
On Thursday 7th February from 2-5PM the Fair Trade Association of Australia and New Zealand is holding a workshop at Manly Library Meeting Room to help you get started on planning a Fair Trade Fortnight event, or link you up with others to support their event. At the workshop you’ll find out what FTF is all about, what is happening in NSW and around Australia during the Fortnight, and how you can get involved.

The workshop will take place at 2:00 – 5:00PM on 7th February at Manly Library Ground Floor Meeting Room - 1 Market Place, Manly, NSW.
Please RSVP by 1st February to aust@fairtrade.com.au if you would like to attend. Note that places are limited, so it is essential to RSVP by 1st February if you want to attend.
